What exactly is included in a maintenance visit? +
Each visit includes a defined amount of service time based on your membership plan:
  • Essentials: Up to 2 hours annually
  • Plus: 2 visits per year, up to 2 hours each
  • Concierge: 4 visits per year, up to 3 hours each
During visits, our technician performs preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and system checks.
When does the service clock start? +
The service clock starts when the technician arrives at the property and ends when they depart. This includes inspection time, maintenance work, and discussion of findings.
What if I need more work than the included service time? +
Members can request additional work during the visit at the member overtime rate:
  • Essentials: $165/hr
  • Plus: $155/hr
  • Concierge: $145/hr
Larger repairs will be quoted separately.
Do unused visits roll over? +
No. Visits must be used within the 12-month membership term.
Can I cancel my membership early? +
Memberships are a 12-month commitment. If cancelled early, the member pays whichever is greater:
  • $350 cancellation fee OR
  • Repayment of the difference between the discounted membership services received and their standard service value.
What happens during the first visit? +
The first visit typically includes a home health inspection, system checks, and minor maintenance. Members receive a HomeCare Maintenance Report after each visit.
Do I need to provide materials? +
Members typically provide small consumables like HVAC filters, light bulbs, batteries, and matching paint. DAS can provide these items if requested and bill them accordingly.
Do members get priority scheduling? +
Yes. Members receive priority scheduling compared to non-members. Concierge members receive the highest priority.
Do Concierge members get renovation discounts? +
Yes. Concierge members receive 5% off labor on renovation projects performed by DAS. Materials, permits, and third-party services are not discounted.
Is DAS HomeCare the same as a home warranty? +
No. Home warranties cover breakdowns after they happen. DAS HomeCare focuses on preventative maintenance to keep problems from occurring in the first place.
How does billing work? +
Billing begins at enrollment. Your first payment is processed immediately, and subsequent payments are automatically charged on the same date each month.
